Sadly on this occasion I was left disappoint and here’s why įor me within a couple of pages I’m usually hooked on a book and the characters within it, thirty pages in I just wasn’t feeling the story or the characters. Resulting in it taking me a week to finish, having to push myself to finish. Normally you would have to drag me kicking and screaming from a book, this just didn’t grip or excite me enough to pick it up more frequently. I’ve heard nothing but exceptional reviews about Sophie Kinsella as an author, when I saw this book in my local supermarket I grabbed it, I thought it was about time I read her work. One phone call leads to a race against time for Fliss, After finding out her sister Lottie has got married her plan is to stop them having sex, an annulment is the answer, going to great lengths, can she stop the marriage being consummated? Is Fliss doing the right thing, or has she stepped way over the boundary of over protective sister? Lottie is a disaster in Love, when she finally thinks she is going to get the fairy tale ending with her boyfriend Richard of 3 years he has a big question for her, which turns out to be just a question, will you go on a trip with me? Heart-break leads her down the isle with her ex-boyfriend Ben who she dated when on her gap year at eighteen, fifteen years later was he the real love of her life, or is she making a big mistake.
